Visiting the Grounds
The grounds are open from dawn to dusk and are free of charge, though there is a donation box by the front gate if you’d like to help with the upkeep of the estate.
The grounds are open throughout the year apart from being closed over Christmas and the New Year period.
The Abbey’s 56 acres include two lakes, a cascade, a stream, woods, an ice house, a knot garden, a rose terrace, a doric temple, and a dovecote.
Please note that –
Visitors are requested to park in the village and not on the property.
There are no toilet facilities for public use.
Dogs are not permitted to be walked on the property.
Picnics are not permitted on the property.
Please take your rubbish away with you.

If you’re visiting the grounds, you’re very welcome to take photographs of the Abbey and grounds, but these photographs must be for non-commercial use only. There is a charge for photo shoots of any description (e.g. engagement, christening etc) and these must be by prior appointment.
