Classes

Our Spring and Fall semesters are 15 weeks long and students typically take four classes, though they can take more or fewer classes if they prefer. Classes are taught by lecture and tutorial. All of our students take the interdisciplinary three credit program, The Anatomy of Contemporary Britain (INTER 3430).

Independent Studies

The academic environment of Wroxton is well-suited to cater to students who wish to pursue an independent study within an area of expertise of one or other of the Wroxton Faculty.  The faculty is pleased to provide supervision and direction for such research.

A list of recent independent studies undertaken for credit by students at Wroxton includes: Business Ethics, Social Policy in Britain, The British Judicial System, Education in Britain, The First World War, British Prime Ministers, British Foreign Policy, Watercolour Painting and Poetry.

Independent Studies requests should be submitted at the earliest opportunity.

Independent Studies may be pursued if they have been approved in advance by the Wroxton College Dean, the students’ academic advisers, and a student’s own institutions Study Abroad Programs Office.
